How Postage works
Put money on any post on 𝕏. The author collects it when they sign in.
- 01Paste a postAny public post on X. We read its author's permanent account id from X's public embed data, so a changed handle never loses the money.
- 02Send USDG or ETHFrom your wallet on Robinhood Chain, with an optional public note of up to 140 characters. Gas is a fraction of a cent.
- 03It waits under the accountThe Postage contract holds it for that X account id. Anyone can see what is waiting on the profile page.
- 04The author claimsThey sign in with X. Our server checks the login, signs a claim for that account and their wallet, and pays the gas to submit it. 3% is kept, the rest is theirs.
- 05Or it comes backA payment nobody claimed can be refunded to its payer after 90 days, from My payments. Once claimed, it is final.
Terms
Fee3% of what an author claims. Nothing on payments or refunds.
RefundsUnclaimed payments, after 90 days, always to the original payer.
Minimums0.1 USDG or 0.00003 ETH per payment.
Who can claimOnly the X account a payment was made to, proven by X login through Privy.
Admin powersPause claims, change the fee wallet, and swap the claim signer after a one-day delay. No one can move escrowed money.
RiskThe contract is not audited, and claims rely on our signer. Send what you are comfortable with.
